Hi everyone, I’m Dave Krysl. I’m a Colorado native, local to Denver — I love motorcycles, snowboarding, playing guitar, and building things.
I also love taking photos. I was fortunate enough to learn black and white film photography in high school from a guy named Alan Rabold, who really helped show me how to express myself through capturing images.
My journey eventually took me to New York City, where I immersed myself in the commercial photography world. I was super lucky to be connected to Joey L and I spent several years assisting him on jobs ranging from shooting movie posters to helping on set for a short film shot on location in Ethiopia.
Being exposed to a higher level of creativity and hustle really pushed my own photography career, and I gradually found my love for story-telling through still images. I bring this story-telling perspective to every shoot that I do, whether it’s a headshot or a wedding or a fashion look book.
